To be honest, gents, I just took some high temp ceramic paint and
sprayed some in from the side. Seems to be working well enough- all
I wanted to do was keep rust down somewhat. I did the same to the
rear rotors- maybe in the spring I'll pull off a wheel and take a
look inside, see how it held up. The same paint is doing a
reasonable job of holding up on the calipers themselves...

PS:using high temp paint= absolute must. At NHIS, a guy in a 90 V6
actually caused the cheapo paint on his rear brakes to start
bubbling+burning. He was black-flagged for smoke coming off the back
of the car, and sure enough, when we looked, both the backing plate
of the pad and the fingers on the caliper were covered in bubbling
red paint. Doh.
