A/c compressor not engageing (Chuck Pierce)

Chuck,
my a/c wouln't not engage because it was low on refrigerant, autozone sells
kits and cans for the R-134 conversion.  Mine was empty so I tried the stuff
with the leak stopper, about a year and so far it's holding.  I think I may
have spent 30-40$ fixing it.
