Flashing outside temp lite

As I understand it, this is an "error" signal showing that a
servo-controlled device, such as the heater flap or a vent flap, has
not been able to reach whatever  value/position/orientation the CC
"wants". Sometimes this might happen because of a bit of excessive
friction (or dirty electrical contacts) so if the obstruction is
eventually overcome, the warning shuts off. Or I suppose it could be
that the warning flashes always stop after a fixed period of
time--even if the problem persists.

The CC diagnostic codes (check your Bentley manual) can help to
identify possible problems.
