Lister(s): Bad ISV cause low boost? No temp warning on dash. Gauge
low/erratic like loose wire.

I'll send future replies off list but for those intersted here's a sample of
values during a 80 degee F day in Boston: second value is 10 minutes after
first, which was 1 mile from home city driving. Ten measuring blocks of data
below, (from field/channel 000)
1: 164/189
2: 20
3: 92/255 (RPM/10 max on Vag scope is 255. or 2550 RPM)
4: 129 (range 121-135) ISV operating range
5: 103/116
6: 124 (123-137range- is low limit Idle Stab Valve) car does stall sometimes
when clutch pushed in from higher RPM'S
7: 51/40 (less than 47: Idle Stab Valve -ISV- (N 71in Bentley)
8: 123 (low end of 123-133 range) Oxy sensor/Air leak at Mass Air Flow sensor
9: 178 (141 or higher: Fuel supply low/Air leak between turbo and MAF or
manifold.
10: 27 (34 or less: ISV (N 71))

8&9 reflect need for 2.6 gallons of fuel in tank. Tank 1/2 full during test.
No pump buzz, 87 Octane & MFTS disconnected. Before car 1.4 bar max/saw 1.5
w/MFTS disconnected. 4th gear tests w/ 91 octane. I run "no turbo"/below 1.0
