Two For The Price of One, V8 sway bars, and Sight Unseen

Eric,

As to buying a car sight unseen, I bought my 200 sight unseen, did my best
to ask a lot of questions, and wound up finding the car was better than I
anticipated.  This was also when 200's where going for more than they are
now.

Well, I ended up with this Avant for $4150.
I would have felt better about buying a car sight unseen at a little less,
but it still sounds like a good deal.
I will keep you posted.

That's always been my understanding of the handling dynamic; with all else
remaining equal, an increase in roll stiffness/spring rate at one end of the
car will increase the traction at the opposite end of the vehicle.

So...bigger front sway bar (according to this generaliztion) would result in
more understeer, in as much as the rear would be have more traction.

I remember some people on the list putting V8 front sway bars on their
cars.
Considering that these cars understeer a bit by nature, wouldn't putting
a bigger bar on the front  tend to cause more understeer?
A friend sent me the Tire Rack Tech page on what changes to make to a
car to alter how it works and it states putting a bigger sway bar on the
front will cause
the car to have more understeer.
