Brake Pad Warning Light Behavior

Well, you might want to have a peek at the front brake pads themselves...I 
personally would suspect a spurious warning indication in this case since if 
the indicator were really "tripped" (a small piece of wire in brake pad is worn 
away, opening the circuit) it wouldn't be turning off and on like that. Mine 
has beeped about this once or twice, and I have plenty of pad left. It's 
probably a solder joint working  loose in the cluster. Bernie says there will 
be really loud noises when you approach metal-to-metal contact (the backing 
plates will start to rub the ridges on the rotor where the pad doesn't touch).
