distributor rotor question

There is, INDEED, a "special" distributor rotor for the 3B that most FLAPS
will incorrectly substitute a rotor for the 10-valve engine for.  You can
get the proper rotor from Scott Mockry <  http://www.sjmautotechnik.com/  >
 see his website for details about the right rotor as well as contact
information for purchasing one.

Rod at TPC sometimes has the right rotor available also.
