dangerous frozen throttle problem

Try also posting this info in the Audiworld or VWVortex forums. I know they
are not as technically minded (for the most part), but that's where you'd
find a bit more of an affected audience as related to the problem.

If it's a pretty frequent problem, maybe Audi wants not to let the cat out
because of the reminiscent ring of a feature length 60-minute story,
although they'd look a lot better nipping it in the bud than ignoring.

Subject: dangerous frozen throttle problem

Listers- many of us in cold climates need your help. My wifes 2.8 A6 has
a recurring throttle problem. In cold weather the throttle freezes and
the only way to stop the car is to put it in neutral and turn off the
key while the engine redlines. It has happened to us twice- once in very
heavy expressway traffic and once while a school bus was stopping ahead...
