Bill, you're just not hearing the list's consenses.  Get that car out of
that outfit's hands ASAP!  Even if you have to push it to the Subie dealer
next door.  They now know that they have a sucker on the hook (sorry about
that) and will inflect more repairable damage to complete the rip off.
