Boost problems

Gabo,

It seems you have a bad BPV or WGFV or the connections to the valves are
bad. I can't see any reason this would change with heat. Check those before
you buy any new sensor.

Subject: Boost problems

Hi there,

I got a new problem on my 20VQ.

If the engine is hot(100 degreeC) and after it is cooled back the
boost reach the maximum pressure really slowly and I can hear a noise
from the engine as the pipes are leaking. It is between 1.4-2 bar abs
pressure only. The noise seems to come from the BPV or the WGFV. I
have direct air filter installed, so I recognized this as the BPV let
the plus air out.

I plan to replace the MFTS, but I would like to know your thoughts
about this symptoms

Thanks--
Gabó
