Shane, I agree with your lead in phrase, if it is ment to pertain to the
rest of your post.

Your Jiffy Lube tranny guys that you quote are talking automatics, as there
is no filter in the manual trannies.  Further, these monkeys are selling a
service and would be pleased to change your fluids weekly, if your wallet is
fat enough, and will guarentee to strip your drain plugs every time.  Better
that you follow Audis service recomendations.  Neither Bentley nor the 200
owner's manual recomends a manual transmission fluid change interval.
