transmission lube

I goofed. LOL, I did not read this was from the 20V list. I thought it was
from the V8q list. And, there are about 3 or 4 of us over there with manual
tranny cars. I think there are even a few over there that have no clue Audi
made a manual tranny V8.

But, I still follow the same guidelines with the manny tranny cars. I have
also been told the same thing by tranny guys. Change it every 30K. I do
mine every 15K.

BTW, are you insulting my intelligence by saying I take my car to jiffy
Lube? Come one, my dog has more brains and car know how then those folks.
For fun took an old used oil filter to Jiffy Lube one day and asked them if
they had any more like if. I told them I wanted to start bringing my car to
them. The guy looked at me as if I was nuts when he saw the size of the
filter. He told me they don't carry tractor filters. I told him it was for
an Audi V8q. He had no clue what I was talking about. Looked it up on the
computer. Did not exist. Still convinced I brought him a tractor filter.

Thanx for reminding me what list I am on. Regardless of what Bentley or the
handbook say, I will change my oil every 15K. Cheap insurance IMO.
