3B tranny same as MC-2 tranny?

Both MC and 3B engines use type 016 transmissions with certain
torque-sensing center differentials, and I believe the 5 forward gears have
about the same ratios, but there are differences such as the MC's 3.89:1
differential ratio vs 3B's 4.11:1. I can't recall if the ratios are juggled
to give higher revs/better acceleration for the 3B - mine gives
25mph/1000rpm in 5th...
