Alan,
I just searched my qlist archives and located this post (see below).
Unfortunately, Tom Nas was--at the time--unable to scrounge up a set
of these springs for me. Perhaps Ford dealerships in the Netherlands
are no better for parts than Audi here in the USA. I had checked with
a couple of local Ford dealers, and they just laughed when I
mentioned a European p/n.

What about it, Euro-listers (Minhea, et al): have you guys ever
looked into this "remedy", or does that ebrake release problem not
exist on your side of the pond? If so, have any of you found these
springs to work? Would it be possible to arrange to buy and to mail a
"test set" of the springs? Possibly could cram them into a package of
ECU chips bound for the States? :)
