sealing the IC better?

What was it that you guys were using to seal the lower IC hose or pipe?
It just uses those rings that dont seem to be able to tighten better to stop those minor leaks.
I just changed my timing belt, seal, and w/p, and would like to seal the turbo system better somehow especially the IC.

Still wainting for the crank pin to come from the dealer for the flywhell to get the car running again.
