in the rubber/metal fuel line that connects the regulator to the fuel
rail. The rubber part is covered by stainless steel braid and mostly
hidden from view (in the installed position) by the intake manifold. I
would guess that this fuel line is a 'dealer only' part, but have no
first hand experience trying to get one.
The "regulator + rubber/steel fuel line + mounting bracket" can be
removed as an assembly without removing the manifold. Undo the fuel
line banjo bolt at the fuel rail and remove the two nuts holding the
regulator bracket to the manifold. The tricky part can be getting the
vacuum hose at the bottom of the regulator unclamped and removed so the
regulator can be pulled out.
