Thanks to all.  Least likey scenario, IMHO was the culprit, finally dug in 
and both regs are toast.  Pretty easy to test, pop rear door handle and 
included window switch, remove wiring from switch and apply 12v to black and 
green wires.(no up/ no down) both sides!
My wife said both were working at the beginning of the trip and not at the 
end!  It lloks like newer regs and a lost weekend are on tap.
