Newbie question

I'm new to Audi talk and am seeking some help.

I am TOLD that the Audi 200 is equivalent to the Audi 5000 Turbo.  Is this
the case?

I am actually after an Automatic transmission from a 1987 or there-abouts
Audi 5000 Turbo, as I am told this is the transmission I need in my VW
Vanagon.  Is the 200 auto trans the same as the 5000 turbo auto trans?

I would appreciate any (helpful) comments.  I am sorry that this isn't a
pure Audi post, but I'm sure there is someone on the list who can help me.
