He wasn't trying hard in the STi, there is no way that a chipped 200 can keep
up. Or the STi had some serious engine problems.

agreed, I was surprised that I kept up with the STi....
(I'm all stock with only the Minhea C. chip upgrade.)

It could be he had stayed in 5th (out of six)... or that the STi
loses its edge over 100 where aerodynamics (Cd) are the
most important factor .
