Hmm.  Sounds familiar ;-)  Yes, I believe they are interchangeable (gauges
themselves -- not the cluster).  PO did that with my gauges.  While you can
remove the faces, it might be easier to just replace the gauges.  You should
be able to bring the speedo in to a speedo repair shop to set to correct
mileage.  As long as it's out of the car, it should not be an issue.
