pressure transducer swapping step-by-step?

Hi Richard,

I bought the used 3.0 bar sensor from Chris Semple. 
Supposedly it was only used for a few weeks before the PO 
went to a VMAP because that's what his tuner uses.

I may not need "all" the range of the 3.0 bar sensor, but I 
guess if I ever want to exceed 22psi at all, even for short 
periods or rpms ranges, it will be needed to keep the ECU 
involved in the excitement.  For the car this ECU will be used in, I'd like to shoot for the 380hp, chipped RS2 spec goal.

I'm trying not to think about the possibility that the Bosch 
sensor could fail at some point, which was alluded to in a 
thread about VMAP's over on the s-car-list.  How common is 
failure of the sensor?
