Heater blows hot air -lots of it

Are you seeing any blinky lights on the climate control head? Error codes 
there? It sounds like your flapper motor is malfunctioning or the feedback is 
in error - I have had some poor connection issues with mine but not that bad. 
Could be some sort of vacuum problem, you can check the heater valve (fails 
open), but luckily we don't have a bowden cable ;) Bentley has a nice 
troubleshooting section of course.

1991 200 quattro, 120k, passed emissions check with flying colors of course 
even though operator couldn't find spark plug wires and went through "rpm 
bypass" method
1988 GTI 16v, 239k, lubed throttle cable again...much better...
