16, actually. You're not the first to get my age wrong; the current
record-holder for people I've known is the receptionist at my last
job, who thought I was "like, 20 or something". On the flip side, for
years most of the quattro list thought I was in my mid to late 30's.
When I worked at iClick for Dan, a lister (whose name I can't
remember for the life of me) met me for the first time in Dan's
office and got quite a shock; the sizeable mushroom of hair probably
didn't help.

At one of the meetings of the Boston-area crowd when I still had my
5000, Andrew Duane suddenly looked at me sternly across the table and
declared, "you're half my age, aren't you?", snorted, and finished
the rest of his beer.

I didn't look very hard, but I believe this is my first post ever to
the quattro list:

..which would have been the start of my junior year of high school,
and about 5 months after getting my license.

The 200q20v list was started and hosted on my server by request of
Rob Winchell, in spring of '98, I think? A month or two later I had
purchased my car.
