ADMIN: list etiquette

Conversation flow 'follows' - however the idea of re-reading Bernie's
continually pithy and derogatory comments makes me ill. The email world,
in business and pleasure works the opposite. Period. If you read your
email in timed order its easy to keep up with topic flow.
I've been a part of Audifans for a long time - over 8 years. I joined
the 200q20V list not because I owned one, but because having a V8 with
the same diagnostic software (and suspension, etc, eyc, etc) allowed me
to participate in a meaningful manner.
I just counseled my son to leave an Audiworld local club forum following
a lot of BS including rude, nasty comments and capricious deleting of
threads by a moderator who didn't even have the guts to explain his
actions. I've stopped attending meetings with our local club for the
same basic reasons.
A LOT of talented people have left these lists or dropped down into lurk
mode.
Brett, you're welcome to run this list any way you like. You're the
moderator. Generally, you do a decent job.
I don't need this BS. I definitely don't need the negativity of Bernie
hiding behind his keyboard. I will share one key fact I learned early
on: I figured that the people who were the worst egocentric assholes
posting to the qlist were just that way because they didn't have to
worry about actually meeting the people they loved to beat up on.
That is, until I met them. That's when I found found out how wrong I
was. In person, they were just as bad, if not worse.

My next action will be to go unsub at the website - there's no need to
reply, because I won't be listening. I'll still be subbed at the V8 list
(as long as Steve is the moderator). Otherwise Ill be hanging out on the
TDI club forums with Dan Simones...
