I've read with keen interest the thread that deals with tramlining of
235/45's on 17 in. rims. Fact is, I have now owned 2 200tq Avants , and
both of them have been shod with BBS rims. One car featuredYokohamas and
the other one Bridgestone S03's. In my experience, the Bridgestones
perform far better than the Yokohamas and were less prone to tramline,
as well. And now that I've found myself a set of 16x8 inch oem's from a
v8, I just might make them my summer shoes, inasmuch as the offset is
exactly the same as on the original 15 in. rims. With original springs
and Bilstein hd shocks, I like the way the car rides and handles with my
old s4 rims and winter tires.
