Fan fusible link?

Good question. A point I should have made in my original post is  that I 
broke the plastic bracket thing, it pretty much shattered....do you think  they 
still sell that part? I could probably rig something up to accomadate  the fuse 
link or rig something up with a regular 
fuse[s]
