Fan fusible link?

I have no problem with the OEM part and understand that it is cheap
compared to what we're used to, but Advance Auto is less than 2 miles
from my house and they won't ask me what model when I say V8, mainly
because I won't be talking to them.  Instead I'll walk down the aisle
and find the generic brand 80 amp fusible link hanging there with all
the other made-in-china electrical parts.  It requires a minute or two
of modification, but works just the same.  If you look it up online at
advanceauto.com you can find the right part and order it there because
it isn't stocked in the store.
