Hey sports fans

Since I did not get a response the first time around.
I have another question.
Since this assembly is made up of three parts
a. lock cylinder
b. steering wheel lock
c. the ignition switch

With the problem stated below, is this a replace it all or one specific
piece?

No the steering wheel does not lock when the key is turned as far as it
goes( at the moment) to the left.

Help Please
Thanks

Went out to run an errand this am. and when starting the car the starter
stayed engaged. Turned off car restarted and it worked correctly.
Arrived at first stop and the car would turn off, but the key would not
come out of the ignition. The car electrical system does turn all the
way off, just cannot get the key out.
Lock car car with separate key, ( this car has an ignition key and
separate key to lock it up, a nice feature at the moment. Which might
mean the ignition switch has been changed before).
I go to start the car to leave and it starts and when returning the
switch to what was the run position it turns off.
I restart and not turn the key as far the car stays running.
So I get the feeling that I am about the replace the ignition switch.
So any BTDT's will be appreciated.
Yes the key is still in the ignition.
