Want Heater Hotter

Alan,
       Another Audi owner told me tonight that when he bought his last
older Audi the owner offered him the sheet of cardboard he had used. He
refused it and says the car has never been really warm.
        Another thing I am going to check is the vacuum hose on the
heater valve.
         Have you ever checked your flap potentiometer feedback value
readin to see if it is opening properly? Per the Bentley my readings are
near perfect but I might try adjusting it further out. The Bentley
readings are based on the VIN no and I dont know how accurate they
really are.
