Want Heater Hotter

On the old Volvo 544's they had what looked like a window blind mounted
in front of the radiator at the base with a string going into the car
under the dash. When the car was cold you could pull up the "blind" to
limit air through the radiator to warm up the car and it occupants and
as it warmed up you would drop it down. Being as I have always lived in
Calif. I thought it was a nice touch for the folks that insist in living
where there is actual four seasons.
Snow is meant to be visited not lived in.
