t44 as track car?

I couldn't agree more.  Smooth driving at the track (and otherwise, I might
add) is paramount.  Granted, the type 44 chassis cars, including the '91
200q20v, which shares the same wheelbase as the 4C V8, are pgis compared
with the newer A4/S4 cars.  However, the 200q20v is lighter and less
pig-like than the UrS4/S6 cars IMO, though the chassis are far less stiff.
These cars do prefer wider turns like at at Road America or Brainerd
International, etc.  No, they're not ideally suited as track cars (few
road-going cars excelling at highway cruising really are).  So I also have
to agree with Taka.  One of the best track cars out there for the $$ is a
944 or 944 turbo.  Not too bad for the road, either ;-)
