t44 as track car?

I have to agree with all the comments stated so far. I use to have a 5ktqw
that I would track regularly. The nice thing about the avant is that I
could take a set of race wheels/tires, jack, tools, etc. to the track with
plenty of room to spare inside the car!

I'll add another extremely cost effective, fast and fun car to the list as
well. That would be a Spec Miata. I race one in SCCA locally. Those can
be had in the off season for less than $10k, are extremely easy to fix, and
handle better than MOST out there. If you need more grunt, and need to
drive it on the street, opt for a rollbar instead of a cage, and use the
money you save to bolt on a turbo!

The main point is to get on the track! You'll learn and have fun in
anything you take and drive there.
