strut tower rip?

Has there been any resolution to this issue?

is the bernie brace our only possibility for a
solution at the moment?  I like the idea of using the
V8 tower brace but the mounting points are different.

What about just welding in some supports like the t44
race cars?

Can the V8 chassis stiffening modifications be applied
