Best description of the reseal procedure is in the Bentley for the 200q20v.
 I'd say the shaft seal is worth replacing.  You need a press or a really
large, strong, vise to get the pulley flange off the shaft.  I rebuilt two
pumps without doing the shaft seal.  Both later suffered shaft seal
failure.  So I now replace that seal too.
