Aux. air flap spring mounting points?

I finally got around to sticking my head into the passenger footwell to 
replace the aux. air flap spring. The remains of the original spring 
were hanging from an obvious mounting point on the flap itself. 
However, I can't find the other mounting point, and Mr. Bentley is in 
storage (remodeling).
If one of you knowledgeable and kind souls would point me in the right 
direction, I'd be grateful.
