Ahem. Well, some people think that someone was me, but I didn't do 
more than write Audi the first complaint about that issue and then 
publicize the effort in audifans...but it was a (potentially 
life-and-death) safety issue, IMHO.

Well heck --if you (evidently) feel Audi has some obligation to make 
sure we're not ever inconvenienced by driving 15 yr-old cars-- why 
not also put in a complaint about those pesky holes in the 
stainless-steel exhaust system while your you're at it?
