Front wheel bearing kit

Hi,
Is there any real value or need for the "kits" for the front wheel bearings?
I have seen several types. Some have a couple of bolts and nuts while others
only have the circlips. I'm about to change my passenger front wheel bearing
on my 91 200 TQ 20V. It is getting quite loud. The FLAPS, Robbins Auto has
the bearing alone for $55. I didn't check the brand, but they carry quite a
bit of Beck and Arnley.
