Light Switch Harness

No secret retainers for the light switch harness connectors. I use a
flat-bladed screwdriver that has a 90-degree bend in its shank so I have
something to push with. Where did you find a "new harness" with new
connectors?
While you have the connector off, take a piece of emery cloth and clean up
the male contacts on the back of the switch. If you've had connector
plastic melting, the contacts will be contaminated with the plastic.
