Radio Code

Did you check and see if it's written inside the cover of one of your 
owner/maintenance manuals for the car...I guess that's assuming you still 
have those pieces of literature.  I know mine is written on a sticker inside 
the front cover of I believe is the mainenance log book(?).  I'm sure you 
know, but its a four digit number.

I don't know if it's on the back of the radio...if so, that would seem to be 
a rather oxymoronic security solution.

Went to the VW dealer to get the radio code for my radio.
Well now " they only go back to 1995".
I remember seeing something about the codes a while back.
Any one have info to help me?
