Wheel Offset

I believe that our wheels come with a ET35 offset ( I have the V8 16" 
wheels). I am looking at getting an additional set of wheels to have 
some snow tires.
There are a lot of A4  wheels out there with the ET45 offset. If I was 
to get one of these sets I  presume I will need to use some spacers 
(10mm? ).
I still have the UFO brakes. Wisdom on this is appreciated.
Yes I know it late for snow tires, but I am bargain hunting for next year.
