Most of the things you mention as special are present on every stock '91
200q20v I've seen. The increased horsepower is easily obtainable in the
aftermarket. If it does indeed have a larger turbo then it most surely has
some tweaked ECU tuning to support it. This to some is referred to as
"chpping" which has become a term used for ECU programming tweaks as well as
adding on resistors or swapping out chips.
As others have said the quattro script in the back window was present from
the factory on every type 44 Q car from '85 to '91.
My thought is that this may be a special edition package from an after
market company, possibly in Germany back then, that did a run of them, with
some intended for some organized competition, possibly with some backing
from Audi.
Not trying to say that you have been told a fib, but I can't recall having
ever heard of even an inkling of this sort of thing, from Audi or otherwise,
in over 10 years of increased awareness of the '91 200q20v.
All debate aside, a '91 200q20v with more power is always a good thing. All
the better if it turns out that it is indeed exclusive and rare.
