CPS Issue...Update

Sean, I am jumping on this thread a little late, However I had a similar  
problem with my old 5k Avant.  To make a real long story short, the problem  was 
the cast in key on the bottom pulley had broke and the pulley was moving  
slightly on the crank.  If it was off a few degrees the car would not  start.
