Fault code

What is the preferred method of cleaning the ISV? - ISTR something about
just spraying carb cleaner in there or something.....

The ISV is a throttle bypass, supplying MAF metered air over and  
above that allowed by the closed throttle position to maintain the  
ECU programed idle speed. Maybe the ECU is calling for a higher idle  
speed than a gummed up ISV will provide in required additional alr.
