Is it worth it?

Ed, you hit the nail on the head I'm afraid. The car has had all its
previous work done in Seattle, but I'm currently in New Jersey. The
only place within 30 miles of the breakdown is a dealer. Don't think
they have designs on the car, but did get the feeling they aren't
very interested.

It's a sedan and just hit 130K miles.

If anyone knows of a good Audi mechanic in the NYC/Jersey Shore area,
I'd love to get their info.
