oil pressure sender tips?

I had one fail a couple of months ago, I remember that their were two of  
them on the front drivers side of the motor. Got it with a combination of  
socket, two or three different length extensions and a universal swivel.   It was a 
PITA but doable.  Had a harder time getting the new one in that  getting it 
out.
 
When mine failed, it leaked about two quarts of oil in 15 miles.   Gauges 
still worked.
