lost 5th and reverse.

On my 91 200q a long time back, I had a problem getting reverse - as I recall, there was a plastic part in the linkage that had broken. Seem to recall about $65 for the part and maybe an hours labor.

Hi guys, for the last 6 months my Audi has been sinking me, can't drive  more 
than two weeks with out an issue.
 
My latest is while driving this morning I could not get fifth gear and  after 
stopping, no reverse.  I hard through will occasionally get  fifth.  But 
pushing down and going for reverse gets fourth.  I hope it  is linkage.
 
Any BTDT's.
