Jean, replacing the rack is a bit of a PITA. That being said I'd go for a rebuilt rack over a used one. Jorgen probably has the best price on a on a remanufactured rack   http://www.jorgenauto.com/rack-pinion/audi.html#AUDI Takes me about an afternoon to swap one out by myself. I'd recommend getting in touch with Joe from axis motorsport
