Oil pressure?

Matt,

It sounds like you had a bad oil pressure sender unit, which somehow 'fixed
itself" and is now working normally. Earlier it may just have been stuck at
5.0 bar all the time internally....if your oil level warning keeps going
off, it could be one of the two pressure switches is bad. If the warning
comes at idle, its the low pressure switch, if it only occurs when the
engine is above 2000 rpm, its the high pressure switch.

The oil consumption is slightly higher what I run......not sure what
"normal" really is.....keep looking for external oil leaks and fixing them
if they seem excessive.

Good luck,

Alan
