Apparently Rob already has a Clarion head unit which he intends to use.
Any Blaupunkt is the easiest retrofit, almost plug and play. Audi HU  
harnesses are plug matches to the Blau, only 2 pins to move in the  
power connector. All have matching red faceplate lighting.
The rear amps can be bypassed and rewired directly to the the rear  
speakers using the existing harness, no new wiring needed.
