PS Hose from rack to pump

Since the return line isn't under pressure you won't need to bleed it just
for that. When I did this job on my car this winter I found it "convenient"
to take loose the RF brake line coming out of the ABS unit so I then had to
bleed the brakes...was probably due for it anyway.
Of course since you are replacing the pump->rack hose which *is* a pressure
line you will need to bleed the rack circuit because of *that*. The usual
way is to start the car while on jackstands and run the rack from side to
side a few times (never ever staying at the rack end-stops of course).
